Vrony Groot Confectionery Queen
Following her nursing graduation in native Holland, Vrony has spent around 25 years in Nelson food business circles. She has managed a vegan restaurant & sold her own line of Dutch confectionery at the renowned Nelson market.
Vrony has spent the last 2 years developing her ‘luvchoc’ range of organic, dairy-free & sugar-free chocolate confectionery, incorporating her own unique packaging style.
She has been a key partner in the development of ‘sweetea’ confectionery and key supplier of quality, local ingredients.
Vrony will manage retail distribution channels in Nelson & export channels into Europe.
Morgan Freedom Artist & Creative Director
After graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Paris, Morgan worked for 3 years for Citroën and spent a year studying philosophy and psychology before leaving France in 2004 for New Zealand to create a new life.
Following his passion he became photographer and exhibited 4 times before focusing his work on a variety of projects related to fashion, architecture and business. In the meantime he worked for 7 years as a bartender in different restaurants where he also became involved in creating design in marketing for businesses.
He has just completed his degree in Media, Arts and Graphic Design and is now passionately working with different start-ups related to health and food that will help to improve people’s lives.
